Real flowers are gone after a week or two. Our artificial plants last for years, without water or light. The plastic is made from approximately 60% recycled material, and when you are done, you can return everything to us free of charge for reuse.
Sustainability is in every part.
An artificial plant or artificial tree consists of four main parts, sometimes supplemented with flowers. Each part has its own raw materials. That is why we look at each part, and each product, to determine the most sustainable choice.

Sustainability is not in one product, but in the entire life cycle. This is what that looks like for us.
- 01Made smartly
For each product, we determine together with the factory the most sustainable composition of every part. Recycled plastic where possible, and a production process with as little material waste as possible.
- 02Transported smartly
We have large artificial plants and trees made as knock-down: transported in separate parts and assembled on site. That way, we do not transport air. With new packaging, we save cardboard.
- 03Used for a long time
No water, no light, no replacement after one season. Some of our green façades have already been hanging high up for around 7 years, in all weather conditions.
- 04Free return
Ready for something new? You can hand in your artificial plants from Coolplant to us free of charge. We make sure the parts are reused.

Our vision: we love the planet
Supplying plastic products and saying you love the world...? That sounds contradictory, but as artificial plant wholesaler we really do both! A large part of our products is fully recyclable, and developments in that area continue. In addition, as a partner of Trees for All, we gladly donate part of our proceeds to planting real trees.

Sustainable artificial plants
Fresh flowers on the table are preceded by a whole production and transport process, with a substantial footprint for one to two weeks of enjoyment. Growing a bunch of flowers alone takes 65 litres of water, followed by refrigerated transport over sometimes thousands of kilometres. Making a bouquet of artificial flowers is of course also quite a process, but in return you enjoy it for a very long time.
Coolplant products are made as much as possible from natural materials such as wood, paper and silk. Plastic parts are increasingly made from recycled material, and the products are fully recyclable. Together with our suppliers, we continuously work on making our products and processes more sustainable.

Trees for All
For every artificial plant you buy from us, part of the proceeds goes to real trees. That is why we became a partner of Trees for All.
Every year, a net 10 billion trees disappear. The consequences for people, animals and the climate are disastrous.
At Coolplant, we are well aware that sustainably produced artificial plants alone will not make the world greener and more liveable. That is why we gladly donate part of our proceeds to planting real trees, in partnership with Trees for All.
Trees for All plants trees, protects and restores existing forests, and makes people aware of the importance of trees. Close to home, but also further away, with sustainable forest projects in developing countries.
This way, all Coolplant customers contribute to planting new trees!
Are artificial plants sustainable?+
They last for years without water, light or replacement. Around 60% of the plastic in our artificial plants is recycled, and after use you can hand them in to us free of charge for reuse.

How do I maintain a green façade sustainably?+
At most, a short annual check and rinsing with water only, without soap or cleaning agent. Panels can be replaced individually if damaged.
