Fire safety: fire-retardant foliage according to Euroclass B
The foliage of this olive tree is fire-retardant. The fire-retardant property is in the material itself and has not been applied afterwards with a spray. The foliage material is classified as Euroclass B (B-s2,d0) according to EN 13501-1. We will send the certificate for your fire safety file on request.
An ordinary artificial tree that you treat yourself with a fire-retardant spray loses that protection when cleaned and over time, and a spray does not provide a classification. In hospitality, hotels, healthcare, education and public buildings, the fire brigade or insurer often asks for demonstrably fire-retardant material. UV-resistant: also for outdoor use
The foliage of this olive tree is UV-resistant: it has been treated against discolouration from sunlight, so the green stays beautiful for a long time, even in a sunny spot. You can place it on terraces, roof terraces and by entrances, or indoors in places with plenty of daylight, such as a conservatory, atrium or glass frontage.
Place the tree outdoors in a heavy or anchored planter so that it stays upright in strong wind. Secure an inner pot in the planter with sand or gravel.

What is the difference compared with the natural-trunk olive tree of 200 cm?
The trunk and shape are comparable. This version has leaf that, besides being fire-retardant, is also UV-resistant, so it can also be placed outdoors or in full sun.
How do I clean an artificial olive tree?
Dust the leaf from time to time with a feather duster or blow the dust away with a hairdryer on a cold setting. A few times a year, you can wipe the leaf with a damp cloth.
