400 cm olive artificial tree with olives for public spaces, hospitality and healthcare
The same lifelike olive tree with fruit as the 300 cm version, but as a tall, mature tree. The crown starts high, so it rises above a seating area or walkway.
For high spaces such as atriums, hotel lobbies with voids, shopping centres and exhibition halls. The fire-retardant foliage makes it suitable for public buildings.
Other olive trees: Oriental olive artificial tree 400 cm (fire-retardant), Olive artificial tree 300 cm (fire-retardant) and Oriental olive artificial tree 300 cm (fire-retardant). You can see all sizes under artificial olive trees.
Fire safety: fire-retardant foliage according to Euroclass B
The foliage of this olive tree is fire-retardant. The fire-retardant property is built into the material itself and has not been applied afterwards with a spray. The foliage material is classified as Euroclass B (B-s2,d0) according to EN 13501-1. We can send the certificate for your fire safety file on request.
An ordinary artificial tree that you treat yourself with a fire-retardant spray loses that protection when cleaned and over time, and a spray does not provide a classification. In hospitality, hotels, healthcare, education and public buildings, the fire brigade or insurer often ask for demonstrably fire-retardant material. With a large tree, that matters even more because there is a lot of foliage together. Read more background information on our page about fire safety.
Indoors or outdoors?
This olive tree is made for indoors. The foliage is not UV-resistant: in direct sunlight it may discolour over time. In a bright indoor spot, including behind glass, it stays beautiful for a long time. For a terrace or entrance, choose a UV-resistant olive tree or another UV-resistant artificial plant for outdoors. A bespoke olive tree for outdoors, with UV-resistant foliage in a heavy planter, is also possible.

Frequently asked questions
Is this artificial olive tree fire-retardant?
Yes. The leaf is made of fire-retardant material, classified as Euroclass B according to EN 13501-1. This property is inherent in the material itself and is not sprayed on. The certificate is available on request.
Can this olive tree be placed outdoors?
No, this version is for indoor use. The leaf is not UV-resistant and may discolour in full sun. UV-resistant olive trees are available for outdoor use, also bespoke.
How is this tree installed?
The tree stands in a weighted inner pot; the branches are secured during installation. We are happy to deliver and install it, if required in a matching planter.
How do I clean an artificial olive tree?
Dust the leaf occasionally with a feather duster or blow the dust away with a hairdryer on a cold setting. A few times a year, you can wipe the leaf with a damp cloth.
