Green and acoustics in one
Hard materials such as glass, concrete and steel ceilings reflect sound, which can quickly make a space sound hollow and restless. Dense, layered planting with plenty of leaf volume breaks up sound and helps reduce reverberation. This makes an open-plan office, restaurant or waiting area feel calmer and more pleasant, while also giving it a green, natural look.
We tailor the design to the space and its use: as a full wall behind a seating area, as a green backdrop in a meeting room or as a freestanding green room divider between workstations. The acoustic green wall can also be made in a fire-retardant version.
Where is an acoustic green wall used?
Mainly in spaces where people work, talk or wait together: open-plan offices, meeting rooms and phone booths, restaurants and bars, lobbies, healthcare and waiting areas, and educational buildings. We often combine the wall with plant containers or a plant ceiling for a complete green concept.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a green wall improve acoustics?
That depends on the space, the dimensions of the wall and the rest of the interior. A green wall helps reduce reverberation; for major improvement, we combine it with other measures. We are happy to advise on each project.
Can the acoustic wall also be fire-retardant?
Yes, we can build the wall with fire-retardant artificial plants.
Can the wall also be freestanding?
Yes, as a green room divider between workstations or seating areas.
How does a green wall project work?
You send us the dimensions and photos of the wall. We create a proposal with quote; once approved, we build the wall and install it on site, or supply the panels for self-installation.
How much maintenance is needed?
Hardly any. Occasional dusting with a feather duster or a hairdryer on the cold setting is enough. No water, light or pruning is needed.
