Asparagus artificial hanging plant for offices, healthcare and public spaces
The tendrils hang down around 76 cm. Place the plant in a hanging pot, on a cupboard or rack, or let it trail from a tall planter or plant wall.
This brings greenery at eye level and above, even in places with limited floor space.
Combine it in planters and plant walls with broad-leaved plants such as Pothos or Philodendron. The same type in a different size or colour: Asparagus Sprengeri artificial hanging plant 85 cm and Asparagus artificial hanging plant 103 cm. For a green wall, use hanging plants such as insert plants for plant walls.
Fire-retardant to EN 13501-1
Public and commercial buildings often have requirements for the fire behaviour of decoration. This hanging plant is made of fire-retardant material, classified as Euroclass B to EN 13501-1. This property is built into the material itself and, according to the manufacturer, remains effective for life.
That is more reliable than an artificial plant treated afterwards with a fire-retardant spray: that treatment wears off and must be repeated. The certificate and test report are available on request for your fire safety file, the fire brigade or your insurer.
Indoor or outdoor?
This hanging plant is intended for indoor use. Artificial plants without UV protection will discolour over time in direct sunlight. For terraces, balconies and entrances, choose a UV-resistant artificial plant for outdoor use; some of these are also fire-retardant.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The material is classified as Euroclass B according to EN 13501-1; the fire-retardant property is in the material itself and is not sprayed on. The certificate is available on request.
Can this hanging plant be hung outdoors?
No, this version is intended for indoor use; without UV protection it will discolour in direct sunlight. For outdoor use, we recommend a UV-resistant artificial plant.
Is Asparagus a fern?
No, although it looks very much like one. Asparagus is often called asparagus fern, but it belongs to the asparagus family. Its fine foliage gives a soft, airy texture.
