Calathea artificial plant for waiting room, office and hospitality
This Calathea has long, narrow leaves with an elegant wavy edge that grow from the pot in a full cluster. With 40 leaves, the plant looks rich and natural, without becoming too busy.
The size of approximately 80 cm high makes the plant versatile: on the floor next to a chair or sofa, on a low cabinet or in a planter. In waiting rooms in healthcare institutions and offices, the Calathea brings calm and greenery at eye level for seated visitors.
The same variety in a different size or version: Calathea artificial bouquet green 75 cm, Calathea artificial bouquet green-red 75 cm and Calathea Fasciata artificial plant 70 cm.
Fire-retardant in accordance with EN 13501-1
For public and commercial buildings, there are often requirements for the fire behaviour of decoration. This artificial plant is made of fire-retardant material, classified as Euroclass B in accordance with EN 13501-1. The property is inherent in the material itself and, according to the manufacturer, remains effective for life.
That is more reliable than an artificial plant that has been treated afterwards with a fire-retardant spray: that treatment wears off and must be repeated. The certificate and test report are available on request for your fire safety file, the fire brigade or your insurer.
Indoors or outdoors?
This artificial plant is intended for indoor use. Artificial plants without UV protection will discolour over time in direct sunlight. For terraces, balconies and entrances, choose a UV-resistant artificial plant for outdoors.
