Leatherleaf artificial hanging plant for hospitality, hotels and offices
The tendrils hang down around 110 cm. Place the plant in a hanging pot, on a cupboard or rack, or let it cascade from a tall planter or plant wall.
This brings greenery at eye level and above, even in places with little floor space.
Beautiful as a hanging plant above a seating area or bar, and as sturdy filling in a plant wall. For a green wall, use hanging plants such as insert plants for plant walls.
Fire-retardant to EN 13501-1
Public and commercial buildings often have requirements for the fire behaviour of decoration. This hanging plant is made of fire-retardant material, classified as Euroclass B to EN 13501-1. This property is inherent in the material itself and, according to the manufacturer, remains effective for life.
That is more reliable than an artificial plant treated afterwards with a fire-retardant spray: that treatment wears off and must be repeated. The certificate and test report are available on request for your fire safety file, the fire brigade or your insurer.
UV-resistant: also for outdoor use
This hanging plant is UV-resistant and therefore does not discolour quickly in bright sunlight. Suitable for spaces with a lot of glass, such as atriums, conservatories and winter gardens, and for outdoor spaces such as terraces, balconies, pergolas and entrances. Fire-retardant and UV-resistant is a rare combination: ideal for covered terraces and outdoor hospitality spaces where fire safety also matters.

Frequently asked questions
Is this hanging plant fire-retardant?
Yes. The material is classified as Euroclass B according to EN 13501-1; the fire-retardant property is in the material itself and has not been sprayed on. The certificate is available on request.
Can this hanging plant be hung outdoors?
Yes. This version is UV-resistant and therefore suitable for terraces, balconies, pergolas and entrances. Rinse it outdoors from time to time with water to remove dust and dirt.
What is a leatherleaf fern?
A fern with sturdy, leathery leaves that are less delicate than those of a Boston fern. This gives it a robust look and helps it keep its shape well.
How do I clean this hanging plant?
Dust with a feather duster or a hairdryer on the cold setting. From time to time, you can wipe the leaves with a soft, damp cloth. Watering or pruning is not necessary.
