Pothos artificial hanging plant for projects with fire safety requirements
The tendrils hang down around 83 cm. Place the plant in a hanging pot, on a cabinet or rack, or let it trail from a tall planter or plant wall.
This brings greenery at eye level and above, even in places where there is little floor space.
It works well on cabinets, along counters, and as an overhanging edge for planters and plant walls. The same species in a different size or colour: Pothos artificial hanging plant variegated 83 cm, Pothos artificial hanging plant 80 cm and Pothos artificial hanging plant variegated 80 cm. For a green wall, use hanging plants such as insert plants for plant walls.
Fire safety: fire-retardant material instead of spray
This hanging plant is made of inherently fire-retardant material: the fire-retardant property is built into the material itself and has not been sprayed on afterwards. According to the manufacturer, that property remains effective for the entire lifespan, even after cleaning.
A standard artificial plant treated with a fire-retardant spray must be retreated periodically, and that treatment is difficult to prove during an inspection. We will send you the certificate and test report (Euroclass B, EN 13501-1) on request for your building’s fire safety file.
Indoor or outdoor?
This hanging plant is intended for indoor use. Artificial plants without UV protection will discolour over time in direct sunlight. For terraces, balconies and entrances, choose a UV-resistant artificial plant for outdoor use; some of these are also fire-retardant.

Frequently asked questions
Is this hanging plant fire-retardant?
Yes. The material is classified as Euroclass B according to EN 13501-1; the fire-retardant property is in the material itself and is not sprayed on. The certificate is available on request.
Can this hanging plant be hung outdoors?
No, this version is intended for indoor use; without UV protection it will discolour in direct sunlight. For outdoor use, we recommend a UV-resistant artificial plant.
How does Pothos differ from Scindapsus?
They look similar: both have heart-shaped leaves on long trailing stems. Pothos has larger, glossier leaves; Scindapsus is finer and often mottled silver-green. We supply both in fire-retardant versions.
How do I hang this hanging plant?
On a hook or ceiling fixing, in a hanging pot, with tie wire or cable ties along a balustrade or beam, or as an insertion plant in a planter or plant wall. The stems are flexible, so you can shape them exactly as you want.
