Columnea as a hanging plant for offices, hospitality and plant walls
The tendrils hang down to about 65 cm and fall full and naturally.
Hang it from the ceiling, place it on a cupboard, or let it fall over a balustrade or the edge of a planter. Also as an accent in a plant wall or plant ceiling.
Placement tip: hang the plant at eye level or higher, so the tendrils can fall freely, for example from a cupboard, shelf or tall planter. In a plant wall, it works as trailing filler.
Fire safety: choose fire-retardant where needed
This hanging plant is not fire-retardant and is therefore suitable for spaces without specific fire safety requirements. For hospitality, offices, healthcare, education and public buildings, we recommend a fire-retardant version (Euroclass B according to EN 13501-1), with certificate for your fire safety file. See for example fire-retardant artificial plants, or ask us for advice.
Indoors or outdoors?
This hanging plant is intended for indoors. Artificial plants without UV protection will discolour over time in direct sunlight. For terraces, balconies and entrances, choose a UV-resistant artificial plant for outdoors.
