Fittonia artificial hanging plant for offices, healthcare and public spaces
With a length of approx. 54 cm, this is a compact trailing plant for planters on counters and windowsills, small hanging pots and the edges of a plant wall.
Place several next to each other in a long planter for a full, cascading effect.
At eye level, the leaf pattern stands out most: in a planter on a counter, in a windowsill or in a plant wall. The same type in a different size or colour: Fittonia artificial hanging plant 70 cm. For a green wall, use hanging plants such as insert plants for plant walls.
Fire-retardant to EN 13501-1
Public and commercial buildings often have requirements for the fire behaviour of decoration. This hanging plant is made of fire-retardant material, classified as Euroclass B to EN 13501-1. The property is inherent in the material itself and, according to the manufacturer, remains effective for life.
That is more reliable than an artificial plant treated afterwards with a fire-retardant spray: that treatment wears off and must be repeated. The certificate and test report are available on request for your fire safety file, the fire brigade or your insurer.
Indoors or outdoors?
This hanging plant is intended for indoor use. Artificial plants without UV protection discolour over time in direct sunlight. For terraces, balconies and entrances, choose a UV-resistant artificial plant for outdoors; some of these are also fire-retardant.

Yes. The material is classified as Euroclass B in accordance with EN 13501-1; the fire-retardant property is in the material itself and is not sprayed on. The certificate is available on request.
Can this hanging plant be hung outdoors?
No, this version is intended for indoor use; without UV protection it will discolour in direct sunlight. For outdoor use, we recommend a UV-resistant artificial plant.
Where does a Fittonia work best?
In places where you see it up close: in a planter on a counter, on a windowsill or in a plant wall.
How do I clean this hanging plant?
Dust with a duster or a hairdryer on the cold setting. From time to time, you can wipe the leaves with a soft, damp cloth. Watering or pruning is not necessary.
